The Actatek ACTA-1K-FP - Actatek Finger Print Access manufactured by Actatek is designed to meet or exceed the original ACTA-1K-FP - Actatek Finger Print Access in quality, durability, and performance.
ACTAtek has released the Fingerprint only ACTAtek model that is based on 500 dpi Optical Fingerprint Scanning Technology. The Fingerprint only model also supports an optional built-in CMOS camera that can take snapshots of accepted or rejected attempts and store up to 500 photos directly in the ACTAtek database for viewing via the web interface.
The Fingerprint model has a limitation on the number of users since it stores fingerprint templates directly in the unit as encrypted binary data. It stores up to 7 templates for each user enrolled and a maximum of 20,000 users are supported.
